Red Squirrel feeding

I built a hide for a friend & yesterday we erected it in a wood. I went along this morning to finish it off & of course give it a "road test":D
The light was coming straight at my lens & I had lots of probs with the exposure but managed to get this one feeding on some nuts.

They have indeed. It was just outside about 4ft from the front of the hide. The poor thing is covered in ticks. I have pictures!

It was too busy chewing its nuts:lol:I think I do on others but as I said the light was not easy this morning & this was the best of the bunch.

lol the light does look tricky, but i guess you have other chances to get back there, if your own hide isnt giving the goods anyway :)

True enough. Serves me right for being there too early. :lol::lol: Enjoyed the Goose flypast too though.
