How large was it ? Blackbird sized or blue tit sized?
Try the RSPB site, it has an identifier but it needs the size to start searching......
Take all that as "I have no idea"......:D

Closest I can match is a Tree Pipit
Top one is a Meadow Pipit. You do get a few Rock Pipits near the "Stones" on the North and South edges of the island but the centre is stuffed with "Mipits"!
Lovely Puffin shot from the Wick!
Love the puffin photo TMN. How did you find Skomer? Heading down there in June.

Skomer is simply stunning, and I had an awesome day there today. The weather was beautiful, and the sun shone all day - so much I've burned my face!!

Can't be a Puffin m8 - they always have 6-8 Sand-Eels in their mouths - everyone knows Puffins don't fly, they just sit on the Farne Islands waiting for a tog with a 'white' 4ft long lens to shoot them as the go into their burrows
It's a Sparrowhawk I tell you !!!

Both shots are very nice. I have a thing for LBB's (little brown birds) so the meadow pipit catches my fancy. Congratulations.
Bit early for the sand eel shot, next month when they have their young is better.
