My award for sheer determination for today, goes to this little Coot

He swam out a good 50 feet or more, dragging that wood along with him. But just what was he doing?

Building a nest. Backwards and forwards he swam for ages. Amazing to watch. He'd throw it onto the pile, and then swim back to the edge of the lake for another one.
Wore me out just watching him :D
