I like the the way you've captured what looks like two climates in one shot.
Being warm at the bottom, to cold at the top.

That doesn't work for me at all.

The relationship and balance are too far off for my taste.

Very nice, like the contrast of the snow covered mountain back drop and the dry rock, makes me think of the shots from The Lord Of The Rings - very dramatic.

Lol @ Arkady, they must be good ones, their obviously concealed at that moment;)
