Looks like you had fun in the garden. Lovely shots John. My favourites are nos 1, 2 and 5. No 5 is so beautiful. Love the angle and the glorious colours
No2 I like because its a simple but effective shot, No4 I like the DOF on, and No5&6 are nice and colourful shots and would make a superb shot if you could have a single flower on its own.

Good shots and well exposed, especially taken in sunlight. Take No.2 for instance, yellow can be a pig of a colour to get right and retain detail. Well done.

Thanks Maureen and Scraggs (I was beginning to regret the new avatar :D)
I agree about 5 & 6 but its such a busy plant isolation is hard and my pp skills aren't up to removing that much background :D

Not at all and I think perhaps you already know that ... :suspect:
According to our leader last night is usually the week's quietest ... ... and they were threatening to shut us up all evening ... so perhaps people found other things to do ... :naughty: ... like talk to their loved ones, play with the kids, take photographs, read a book or even ... ... watch television ...
Thanks Maureen and Scraggs (I was beginning to regret the new avatar :D)
Well you do look a bit on the serious side John and perhaps even a little bit scary ... :D
Anyway ... a great set of detailed images whose names I happen to no less than you about ... ;)
