2700mah rechargables probably best.

Can get from maplin or lots of online sources.

A charger that can do them quickly in batches of 4 best. Some also come with an in-car adaptor

I've found this to be a good combination at a reasonable price. Bought this for my Fuji S9600 and it's never let me down.

I've bought some of these batteries for work and seem to be very good, especially if your not charging them frequently. http://www.uniross.com/consumer_html/News.php Look at the hybrio range.

Buy 8 at least, always pays to have a spare set charged.
