I fancy going to take some pics today of some animals, pity the sun isn't out here, but nvm.

So the choice is Whipsnade Zoo or Woburn Safari Park, having been to neither, I'm not sure what to do. Woburn I think you have to drive round which could be a PITA to get photos (and I drive a soft top!), but Whipsnade could be full of fences??

Any advice, which one to choose?? :)

Whipsnade for me.

I was so impressed a couple of months ago that I took out a years membership.

Nearly all the enclosures have a spot that you can take photos from without getting the fence in the background.

Going to go there today I think.

Thanks hypnotic :)

I really need some practice shooting, and just fancy a day taking lots of pics :)

Going to take my 24-70 and the 50-500 with me.

Take a look at becoming a member if you go there.

It costs less than £40 for the year. This gives you free entry for a year into London zoo as well and free car parking at both.

You also get a couple of half price tickets to give to friends etc.

What did you think of the old place?

Whipsnade is easily the better of the 2 for photography, and soft tops arent allowed into the more dangerous enclosures, monkeys, tigers, wolves, bears etc. So makes ofr a limited day !

I have a membership to Whipsnade too :) have had for the last 3 years is a great place as long as its not busy ! so avoid Bank Hols and school hols if you can ! :)
