to be honest i think the watermark really spoils them.. The horizontal grey line looks almost like its something in the frame.

Well after having one image stolen, I'm making things more awkward from now on.

I had a BTCC website use one of my images last year, stupidly I didn't get a screen grab but the response I got definitely put me off posting any images without a watermark on.

Some great shots from Donnington of the touring cars, unfortunately only managed to catch the action on the TV, but some great races

 Fairy nuff!
I didn't even notice the watermark to be honest.
I really like the shots. Although I think they lack a bit of contrast in them.
Was great watching them on TV.

Thanks for the comments :)

Well as I said it's there for a reason, it's not meant to be the first thing you notice on the image, otherwise it would be very counter productive.

Bad choice of words on my point. I meant that I didnt get drawn to it. I think the watermark is a good one as it doesnt take anything away from the photo.

I was just being facetious ;)
With regards to the watermark itself, i really dont like it. I'll be honest with you, the grey line does take a lot away from the image. when i saw the shots the first thing i thought was 'what is that grey line?'. I thought it was part of a fence or something until i scrolled down a bit more and saw the watermark.
With regards to people stealing the shots, if anything the line just gives them a easy point to help them crop the watermark off and nick the photo.
Just my 2 pence worth.

Well it was a choice of putting that there or not showing the shots at all. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. I've not had anyone else say they found it distracting though.
Pete
I agree with badger's comments above. I also wondered what the white line was, before I realised it was part of your water mark. However, you have placed it in a position where it does not interfere with the photo. However, this then renders the watermark pretty irrelevent as a protection thing, as it is easily cropped off without affecting the photo.
Oh, great photos btw. Like the last 2 the best.
