can you tell us a little about the picture and what you were hoping to capture please.

At first glance I see it as a busy picture, and can't work out what to focus on. I like the bright colours but other than that not a lot is happening for me. Tell me what I'm missing. :)

I try...
Chioggia is an historical town in the Venice Lagoon, it' s called "the small Venice".
This shop, the only still faced on the main canal, sells ropes and fishing-nets.
I think the "busyness", the absence of a main point of attention, is the main characteristic of this image

Nice colours and good exposure but it doesn't say Jewish shop to me.
Also having the boat cut off at the right side doesn't help the image, I think if you had panned a little to the right, got all the boat and less of the left hand wall it would have worked better.

I'm afraid it doesn't work.

As Keltic noted, the lack of any kind of focus is a weakness. It's a nice subject (the reflections, the colour, etc.), but the composition is boring.

One thing you might try doing is cropping the upper portion to bring the focus to the boat and the reflection. That might be better. Good luck!

Lots of colour
plenty of reflections
but too much going on at once
I find my eyes flashing around trying to find something to focus on,
its just to busy for me sorry
