One of my favourite aircraft, I was lucky enough to see 3 pitts specials flying around White Waltham yesterday. 2 took off in formation and the 3rd with another aircraft. Heres some pics...

Nice shots. Are these planes really small or does it just look it?

Great plane the Pitts and yes they are really small :lol: Always amazes me when you get up close one on the ground just how tiny they are! I think #5 really sums that up or he has a huge head :lol:

Good captures though, speed was ok to retain some prop motion and exposure worked well against the sky :clap:

I love the chipmunks. I remember learning to fly in them when I was doing my "p p l" with the cadets. Great plane.

A nice set, like the 2nd one best, the red of the plane against the yellow of the oil seed rape, nice contrast.:clap:
