Anyone go? It's a great way to spend a few hours on a Thursday evening, with close racing, and plenty of action. Lovely light too... most of these are fairly standard stuff, as the races were only 10 minutes each.

1. Formula Fords at sunset.

2. Start of the first single seater race.

3. Action in the all comers race.

4. Close racing in the Fords.

5. ...and in the Mazdas.

I'm impressed - the light made all the difference... those cars aren't the most interesting subjects in the world by a long way, but the light turns "dull" into interesting.

Think #6 is the one for me from these.

Nice shots. That light is lovely. Shame this wont come to Oulton due to the noise curfew :(

Love the shots of the Mazda's, but then I would!

Wish I worked nearer to Silverstone, so I could make it for these as I think there are a few more during the season, maybe I'll have to escape early for one of them...

I like the last one.. If i was in that pack of MX-5s watching an MR2 leading into the first corner i would be thinking 'maybe time to buy an MR2' :)

The light cast from the sun setting makes the photos look great. Number 5 with the Mazdas for me, good composition and nice and sharpe. Some of the rest could do with a slight exposure boost but it may be my works monitor.
