could you expand on that, hows the lighting and pose?
would they look better b/w ? I can't decide if I like the muted colors.
thanks

Pose in no 1 is fine but a little dark and flat but I think B&W would work well.
No 2 is not a flattering look for the model. B&W may help bring out he forlorn she's got going on there.
No 3 lighting is ok and like the pose.
I'm all thumbs of headshots, but I must speak she is very beautiful woman!

Converted to black and white, seem to prefer these as she suits them... don't know why I just think classy.... opinions please :)

Love the black and white ones.
The muted colours of the first set reinforce what I would say is a very concerned/upset facial expression in #2+3
The black ones really work for me though..
*edit for elektro*

not to keen on the muted tones myself . but thats just me .
i like the pose's you have got your model to do and facail expressions..
i think the b+w works better imo.

thanks for the feedback,
she's an friend of mine who knew I had a interest in photography, she's never posed before and wanted something nice for her and her husband.
I like the b/w now something about the strong contrast helps her.
not sure how to phrase this.......
I find that working with *older* people you need to be sooo aware of highlight and shadow on the face, very easy to get it wrong and age them more.
I shot her with a brolly/softbox right and a snoot behind 1/2 power.
would there be a better way to light her?
