Hello all
As a new member I thought I would say hello and ask for a little honest critique.
I'm quite new to photography but have aspirations to eventually try and make a living from it :cuckoo:
Peoples opinion of the attached pic would be greatly appreciated (Good or bad as its the only way to learn!)

Well framed, soft focus really works on this.

Composition: Good
Exposure: Spot on
Lighting: Good
Post Processing: Good, BW works

Tell me did you softfocus process, or is this out of camera. Even with softfocus processing I like the eyes( including the lashes) to be sharp. It emphasizes the eye and draws the viewer in.

Stunning model aswell.

I am all thumbs of portraits, but I have one idea.
Three main things make this portrait.
Eyes, lips, fingers.
Views of all are attracted these like a magnet.
These tree things have to be ideally. I wanted to say about the manicure...

Like this shot , nicely done! try and bring out the eyes with some PP and smooth the fingernals.
