It was the start of the Transat race (http://www.theartemistransat.com/) in Plymouth today. I was too lazy to get up in time to see the boats going to the startline but instead saw the RN Lynx display team and got a few shots of them instead.

It was rather hazy today so the shots aren't brilliant, grey sky and grey aircraft don't really make for bright images...

The first one is fantastic, composition is spot on, the object appears to be traveling through the frame and there is a nice amount of blur in the rotor blades and background.

That first one was a pure fluke, and I almost missed it. It disappeared round a corner then suddenly shot out again. I managed to get three shot off before lost full frame goodness, only this one coming out clear. :D
