In between covering a mountain bike fun ride today I had plenty of time to randomly shoot the nature around me while standing in the countryside near the Chilterns. Amazing how beautiful it is only 30-minutes outside of London. No real point to this thread, just though I'd share some of the glorious day we had.

Oh, if you want to check out the pics from the mountain bike ride.... (http://www.mikeconwayphotography.co.uk/Bucks_Mountain_Bike_Classic_Gallery.html)

Good set of shots. Sometimes threads go unnoticed for whatever reason Mike, I would guess time of posting is important.

Gary.

True, Gary. I'm just in a weird, paranoid headspace at the moment... sorry :(

Haha - tell me about it. Photography will always be there for me - my only friend until the end! (cue When the Music's Over by The Doors)........

Hmm, that, and for the moment- alcohol

I have been "T totaled" every since convincing a late night cafe my wife was personally responsible for the iraq war!!!

Alcohol and me no longer mix, ever :gag:

Edit
That was 18 months ago, don't miss it!

Good on you, mate. It was the same with me and, shall we say, "something else"... many moons ago.

Keep it that way

How you enjoying photography just now - I have a real good time, but this place can really remind you at times how far you have to go in terms of technique and quality!! Some of the guys here are unbelievable. HimUpNorth with his landscapes and shots from the air, and AJPhotoTog (or whatever his name is - takes unreal macros), I wonder how long it will take before you are in the same league (if ever!).

Keep trying I guess :D

Gary.

haha - I can only dream of becoming a great photographer like a lot of the ones on this forum. I must say that I really enjoy this. I have other hobbies too, but none as rewarding as being able to capture a defining moment in my life... or of someone else's.

Thanks for the chat - you're cool in my books

No worries mate. Post some more pics, the earlier the better otherwise they may fall down the list unnoticed.
