Hi Folks
I live about 4 miles from Leeds Airport and as such pass the place on a daily basis
about 18 months ago 2 Bolkow 105's showed up at the Heliport and were stripped down and one of them rebuilt

must add that these are ex German airforce machines and they have tormented me for 18 months by moving about every two months to a different part of the Heliport property

and even more annoying is that they sometimes fly it late at night (dark)

anyway today I finally got the bloody thing by pure luck... I was passing the Heliport and out of the corner of my eye noticed the rotor spinning as I went past ;D

a quick u turn and a mad dash to see it at last move Hurraaaahh
anyway forgive me getting all excited etc but 18 months to get this little beauty

I like the way you captured the weathering on the paintwork. Great pics.

Interesting... that will be the Bo 105M "VBH" I guess, could even be an original 105P downgraded to VBH spec.

The Germans are busy binning these and selling them on to other countries, wonder if that is what these guys are doing?
