i use photobucket... always works :)

not being negative, but the 2nd pic looks "washed out", and the glare off the bumper on pic 3 dominates the photo

Thanks for comments Mewstar.

Excuse my ignorance, how do you mean 'washed out'?

With regards to the 'stang bumper, the glare was on purpose to get across the gleam and sunlight.

Still early days for me....

Love hte first apart from the light to left of the picture. Secomd would be better with out that rod across it, but u cant help that. 3, good idea, shame about people. On the last the colour of the sky is funky and would have been better with all of the car in the frame.

Thanks Matt.

No problemo, get a account on photobucket for hosting future images ;)

Thanks for comments Matt. The original photo has all of front end of car, but background is cluttered. Hence the chop!

Still early days for me....

same here

as for the washed out, as in no contrast, sharpness, and the whole pic seems blue colour balanced

Ah I see, thanks for explaining Mewstar.

Was the look I was after, not everybody's cup of tea I guess!

Nice to see a forum where you get a response to a post....guess I'll be posting more!!

Just a bit of advice regarding posting. A lesson I learnt. If you want people to comment on your thread, comment on other peoples ;)

There are some good foundations there. A little work on technique and i'm sure you'll be producing great car shots soon.

By the way car shows are always a pain in the backside to get good shots. There are people, cars, tents and all manner of things getting in the frame. So a little artistic crop can really help a shot.

Not a bad start.. the advice above is good and you've found we don't bite :D

I like the last one, I know the colour is a little un-natural but it works for me. Use the clone tool (or a tazer) to take out the kids though :D

Will give the clone tool a whirl tonight and repost photo...all being well!

Thanks for encouragement so far.

Cheers

Nicely done! Looks so much better now!

Like I said earlier though, the other approach is to use a tazer when you are taking the pics :D
