I agree with MD. The selective colouring draws me mainly to the eyes when the shot itself is good as a whole.

thanks guys, i know what you mean. I'm not that fond of selective colouring but it does, i find impress a none photographer. My reason for doing it is, she does have striking blue eyes .
thanks for your comments

I like both images.. Maybe im old fashioned but i like a little selective colouring.. in this case it is very nice.. im not too keen on the shots that are set up with SC in mind though..

The image is really very nice indeed...

I like the selective color shot as well, but like the other a bit more. I agree with you with the fact that clients seem to like selective coloring a lot. Gotta go with what sells. :D

maybe you could add a hint of blue to the eyes so its just there amongst the rest of the photograph. that could work. So it maybe its not to distracting

I like the subtle hint of blue
it does attract the eye - but that's good!
lovely pic and great subjects too

I like the 1st one very much. You are drawn to the eyes but isn't that the point of the selective colouring. 2 great images though it must be said

Thank you for your comments. I must admit the more i look at them the more im drawn to the second shot. I think in this case they both work. Thanks again

A beautiful image. I'm not a keen fan of SC but this works quite well. I like them both. I'd like to ask what lens you used?

great image...but one thing is bothering me: it looks quite soft...is this the processing or your shot? either way a little sharper would be nice imho.

I think both work well. Nicely done.
