Life is so hetic with 2 kids and trying to find some free time to convert my raw files. Also I don't think it helps having a 85mm f/1.2 taking pictures - as i can't stop not taking pictures on my kids. I think i might need to re-do the 2nd picture as i can see some banind/noise in my daughter's hair.

Awwww!!!!!
Your children are adorable Alan!

I love the 1st pic, sooo much cute appeal!
#2 pic, personally Id have cropped in a little tighter on the faces, make the whole shot about the connection, but thats jmo.
Still a sweet family shot though!

1st pic is absolutely fantastic and a great moment to capture and treasure.

The second is a really nice family shot too, but from a technical point of view there are a lot of background colour distractions and over exposure with obvious areas of blown highlights.

Thanks for the comments and I can only hope to be lucky enough to take more cutie pictures of my son and daughter.

Glo - comment on #2 pic makes sense and will try a tighter crop.

Would it be better to try and make the eyes a bit brighter in the first picture to show his pupils?

You could try Alan, but I guess it depends how dark his eyes are naturally as to whether it would look realistic or not.
My bro's eyes are so dark his iris is practically indistinguishable from his pupil, from what I can see Tristan's eyes look the same.
Personally I found it quite difficult to bring out his colour in PP.
Good excuse for another go perhaps?
Good luck . :)
