I have had my Nikon D40x for just under a year now. I have developed my skills as a photographer and see the problems with the compatability of different lenses.

Would I benefit by upgrading to the Nikon D80?

Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Vicky

Hey Vicky

This page: http://www.nikonians.org/nikon/slr-lens.html will explain everything. :)

...and if I would be you, I would consider mint-condition used D200 - market if full of them now ;)

i have the same problem (not the biggest problem) and would only really look to a D200 maybe, dont think the D80 would justify the money for the extra it would have

Indeed. D80 seems pointless if you can have D200 so cheap now...

Or get a few more posts and stick around here a bit longer and look for one on the members market. :)
