I actually took these back in November. I must make the effort to process my shots when I take them, not months down the line. It had been a weekend of torrential rain / sleet and I feel happier now I've worked on these a bit as my first thoughts were these are all rubbish.

Any tips about what I could have done better or processing tips greatly received.

Thanks

Andrea

I'm very partial to a good water shot and these are good. No 1 and 4 are my favourites like the composition

I really like number one but it does look as though there is a little camera shake.

A nice series,

I think the 1st one just edges it for me, there's certainly some water flowing through those falls !!

I have been to these waterfalls a long time ago. These shots remind me of the lovely walk (and achy legs). Very nice shots which make me want to return.

Thanks everyone for your replies.

Kevin H - I guess I have an advantage that I can walk round them whenever I like. It really had rained that week but I have been round when its been worse, the path was only slightly underwater in places this time.

Fraggle 101 - The water looks dirty because it was pretty much in flood. Lots of peat in the soil further up river.

Toothie, - very possible there was a little bit of camera shake. It has printed reasonably well at full size though. I know I should use a tripod but I hate carrying extra weight when out walking!!

meresidemono - Hi Wayne, nah, you only had a trickle for them photos!!
Nice to see a different take on the falls though, not sure I'd like to try going around with a film camera.

Dan - You'll have to give me a shout, I'll go round with you if I'm free!!

Janice - thanks, you could be right on looking again. I often get the sharpening bit wrong for the web!! I've got all the originals unsharpened though thankfully. I had to do loads of work on these to get them anywhere near good enough.
