Some nice shots there, I think they could do with a little bit of cropping.. the last 3 maybe remove some of the sky and the 1st one try and remove some of the road and street lamps.

Slice some off from the left in the first and it will work a treat-I find the penshaw monument too central in the frame, and if it was on the left, it would make the path stronger, leading you into the image.

I think you need to consider your composition a bit better, no.3 would be so much better if you took the top half off i think, no.4 the subject is too central to the pic, no.1 i'd chop the bottom quarter out to get rid of the car, also as les said, i'd move the monument over to the left of the frame and use the steps to lead you in to the image, and no.2, again it's too central to the image.

They are just my opinions so don't take them personally :)

BTW, welcome to the forums, look forward to seeing more local stuff :)

Nice series with lots of potential. #1 I would crop to remove all the lamp posts and give the saturation a boost.#2 crop the sky a little, boost the sturation and perhaps clone out the people (although they do give it scale). #4 I really like the composition is good, but perhaps a little cropping to the sky and a small boost to saturation (not too much). Processing is always a personal thing, but it's worth experimenting.
