We may all be glad to see the passing of Old Man Winter, but I do have a couple of shots of his handiwork to share. As always, C&C welcome.

number 2 for me the frost / snow really brings out the texture in the horse.

I feel cold now ;)

Great the way the frost adds to the texture of the horse sculpture. just need a big hot air blower to thaw the background so it stands out more :)

Brrrrrrr!! Love the horse....just a shame it blends into the background a bit too much.

Both lovely, really chilly! With the first, a slightly higher vantage point to separate the bridge from the foreground foliage may have worked well

Yes...they wouldn't let me cut down the tree behind it. The horse is actually made of hundreds (thousands?) of pieces of iron rebar welded together. The artist is very gifted. If you were to ever see this sculpture in person, you'd think it could be a living, breathing thing. It's tucked away in the trees, though, on the state capitol grounds, and it's difficult to get a shot that isn't cluttered up even more than this one.

Thank you for your comments.

I was thinking like RobertP about the background of the horse shot but on second thoughts I like it as is, the horse looks almost part of the woods there. :)
