They were taken in RAW and I used Picasa to quickly edit them for my blog which means there was no sharpening, or if there is some applied it's done in the background infinitessimally! The sharpening in Picasa is very severe, with no control over it.

The shot you refer to has the foreground deliberately OOF to emphasize Marianne..... I've re-done them in CS with some sharpening applied..... any better?
