I like the lighting, composition of the photo and the dramatic sky, just can you straighten the horizon up.

Where from was this photo of Snowdonia taken? Just asking as heading up at the beginning of July.

Nice atmospheric photo. Is it near Blaennau Ffestiniog? I can just make out the slate drift on the left I think.

That looks more like dolbadarn castle on the banks of Llyn Peris

The slate would be from the old quarry works prior to the construction of the Dinorwig hydro electric powerstation

iirc there is a slate museum there too

yes you are correct lyn peris, next the electric powerstation.... i`ll be spending a fair bit of time up there over the summer as the folks have a caravan there :)
