Would prefer to see more detail in the sky on the first, and the second is too busy for my liking. Perhaps a lower angle to the dock? Use the poles to lead your eye into the picture.
Not bad shots though!

How are you finding the 40d?

Did you take these around lunchtime on Saturday? Only reason I ask is I drove past and saw a photographer taking shots of the docks by Morrisons :geek:
