I'm in a caring sharing mood tonight, Here's another little pair of photo's taken on my travels. Taken as i awaited what turned out to be the biggest seafood platter the world may ever have seen :woot:

P.S for some reason i've put it as being the western cape, It's not it's just a short drive from Capetown!! :cuckoo:

i like the colours of the sky on the top one.....did you manage to go down onto the beach in front of the palm tree and take one from there?

unfortunately not, by time i had gorged myself on the fruits of the sea the opportunity to get another position had passed as the sun had gone down.

Thought I had quite a good sunset at Camps bay but you seem to have done better!

You might want to level those horizons though ;)

My pics can be found via the link in my sig.

I ate a lot of fish and seafood too - unbelievably cheap. We brought Rand back home as we could not spend it all!

RobertP, you've got some cracking photo's in your gallery there of Camps Bay, I unfortunately never had the time to get down and actually look for pictures on the beach as we only popped down there to visit Blues for the food. By the time we'd finished all photo opportunities had vanished with the sun

:)

I found the same thing - the best bit of the sunset would happen just as the main course arrived! One day we ate a little earlier and the sunset was reasonable but not as good as the ones I missed.
