snake escape!!

After the excitement of the spiders, we got on with work, in this case repointing the east wall of the gite, all nice and calm, there's a coucou yelling it's head off across the valley and a Golden Oriole a fair bit closer, the peace is shattered by Mike, screeching (he doesn't like snakes) "Tara, quick get your camera there's a snake broken out of the wall I've just pointed!!"
and sure enough these was!

Again pic quality not great I'm afraid, bright sun light and light stone work don't do a lot to help a girl!!

but just think how I'd have kicked myself if I'd left the camera at home!!
