Hi, I'm new here and just wondered what people thought of some shots that i've tried:

http://northstar.fotopic.net/c1513827.html

These were taken whilst on Holiday in S.Wales last October and are a change from my main photography style (As can be seen from the rest of my site!)

I was just wondering what other people thought of them! The location is Druidston haven, just south of Newgale Sands.

Cheers

Dan

some nice stuff in there but you'll find you get more comments if you post images rather thanjust a link to your site. You'll also get better feedback on what works and what doesn't :) And welcome :)

Welcome Dan.

Your link takes you to a page with 5 pictures. The first the horizon is well squint. The others are all in to the sun shots which are hard to get right and you have done a decent job of the exposure. The shot with the horses could have been the best but is weakened by the inclusion of the foreground rock. This confuses the eye as to what the viewer should be looking at and weakens the impact of the three riders.

Not a bad start though and as Dod says us the image tags to show your image on the forum.

I am really lazy. I just want to see the images without having to click somewhere else and then do something else when I get there. They may be the best images ever posted to this forum, but I'm never going to know. Perhaps a better test for your work is: who buys the prints rather than our opinion.
