Landscape Sunsets etc

What MM lense is best for a landscape scene. I took the following using a 200mm lense, but seen others use 35-55mm just wondering if I am overdoing it?

Use whichever lens gets you the field of view that you want. :)

Agree with everyone else, any that gets the shot you're looking for - most shots tend to be wide angle though
