Tiny Fur and Red Feathers

Two of a furry bank vole. To say that they are only about 10cm long, these blighters dont half shift: Steady, focus, and .... ** phut ** ... gone.

and 2 of a robin. Yeah I know, more robins, but [and check the Exif]
what amazed me about these is that I actually managed to hand hold a 1/40th and 1/30th @ 200mm (with IS), but still (I'm bragging and happy about it) :D
They are pin sharp in the RAW and are about 60% of full frame.

#1 Robin is slightly spoilt by the greenery across its tail I feel

The bank voles are great! Tough animals to find and photograph; you did very well, indeed. That had to take some patience! (I realize that most mammals just aren't as colorful as birds...but they are also primarily nocturnal, so getting a good shot of one is a real bonus!)
