I think you need to pop it a bit though as I feel it is a little flat.

the edit looks knackered to me!

I like sawman's version, with just a touch more saturation added, that'll do me.

The only problem is that there are a couple of blown areas on next Sundays roast dinner (I mean the lamb).

Why didnt you just use the saturation tool and paint it over the grass?

I am sorry to say I am not that taken with any of the two improvements.
I was trying to retain what I saw which was a lamb in deep shade with dusk coming in. Even upped to 1600 iso to get a half decent shutter speed for handholding. I agree though it looks a bit flat.
