Not a lot can beat it for sharpness and contrast and the focus speed is among the fastest I have ever used.;)

Exactly as Mal described.....wonderful piece of kit and mates up with a FF body superbly.

it is a truly amazing lens. it's second top of my list of primes, right after the 300 f2.8. i guess it's gonna be a while before i get it though......
