Having watched a show about the locations used to film the TV show "Midsomer Murders" this weekend I was enthralled by them and realised it's only about 25 miles away for me. So i'm wondering who else may be interested in planning a day out to one or more of the locations and doing a Midsomer themed photo shoot sometime this summer? The main location seems to be Wallingford in Oxfordshire.

It will need a bit of planning and more research so PM me if you can help with that, and perhaps put your name down here if you're interested in coming along.

If you're interested the show was called "Midsomer Murders' Map" and is being reshown on ITV3 tonight at 9pm.

It will make a very interesting day.
There was a documentary about the Hungerford shootings, on the history channel.
Most of the location scenes were shot in our road. There was bodies everywhere.

They also shot one episode in Hertfordshire last year.
My company was involved in some renovation work on the place at the time and we had to finish on time to allow them to start shooting there.

It was a very large manor type house in Bricket Wood, Hertfordshire called `Mundens`but its a private residence so you wont be able to visit it i,m afraid.

Caroline Graham, the originator of the series and writer of the novels on which it is based, is a Worcester gal and I think most of the settings are supposed to be vaguely Cotswolds.
