My surnames Crowe, when my wife was expecting if it was a girl we were going to call her Emma.my brother said she would get slagged at school etc.
Emma Crowe (I'm a Crow). But it turned out we had a boy, problem solved.About a year later my brothers wife had a girl, and they called it Emma, they thought it was a really nice name, even after telling us about the possibility of slagging
