Okay, I have awful confidence, and am beginning to feel I will never amount to much as a photographer. I have been doing it on and off for 8 years, though admittedly it has been more off than on. I took these today with Nikon D60.

Just copy a URL from your list, click on the Insert Image icon on the tool bar, paste the URL over the http:// stuff that appears in the dialogue box, and click OK. Repeat once for each image.
Not bad at all imho, the last three could do with a slight straighten :)

yea there good the last few as Lurch has said need a straighting imo
I like abstract shots, and it's always nice to see someone who shares that interest, but those ones could do with some work. Both Skywards have exposure issues, the feature is neither silhouette or detailed, and it looks like an awkward crop. I like the lines, but the other elements spoil it somewhat. Both lack any real punch of definition, but that could be sorted out with some PP.
I like Guess what this is the most out of all of them, and as I can't guess what it is, I can't decide whether it's a good photo or not, so perfect abstract.
Abstraction is wonky, unbalanced, and with an odd bit of flare coming in bottom left. Not a fan.
I like what you're trying to do with Abstraction 1, but it's wonky again, and really unbalanced. Was there a central feature? The pillar? The windows? I can't tell.
Infinity. Like it, but needs straightening, and the crop should have been a little tighter. You should have a play with levels and see if you can pull out the contrast a little, as it's looking flat.
I don't want to get you down, as you seem down already :D, but you've certainly got an eye for looking for the unusual in a situation, and once you get the boring bits of photography right (level, straight, framing, watching out for things you don't want in the shot) you should get some cracking pics. Eight years, pffff! That's nothing. I know people who have been doing it for decades, and they're still crap ;)

My apologies; it seems that flickr doesn't want to let us see your pictures if you try and use the Insert Image icon.

Thanks...and yeah, the abstraction ones were tricky as I was in a busy mall and pointing the camera at the ceiling. It wasnt a case that I went out with the sole intention of shooting, I carries the camera with me and was struck by the sharp lines and angles. Might try those again at some point, but some seem to prefer shots that are off kilter, while others like them to be straight and level.
