Lost baby

Found this poor baby sparrow in the garden this morning.

Mother kept wanting to feed it but wouldn't join it whilst I was there so I satisfied my photographic eagerness and left them to it. Still there though, watching out for moggies.

Nice photos, our moggies have been on a rampage this past week. I have had two baby blackbirds brought to the doorstep and last night a nest had been raided as there were three featherless-still blind chicks left on the drive way. :(
