All they have in Forfar are bridies! Thanks for the comments.
One squirrel used the open window frame to climb down. I was going to touch him but thought better of it:lol:They bite!
Love the squirrel with the reflection in its eye.... I think I can just see what F number your lens is on there!!!
But the favourite is the claw... its fantastic!

If you don't mind me asking, what lens were you using to take these shots?

Love those red squirrel shots.
Cracking set again! :clap::clap:
That claw is amazing! :thumbs:
Thanks again folks. Glad you liked them. I just felt the claw made up the set nicely. As to lenses. Most are taken on a 300mm but I am now also having to use a 70 - 200mm as the squirrels are just too close.
I have also found out twenty minutes ago that there is a Red squirrel project going on just over the fence. They are trying to get a count of the local population. I can certainly help & I can also tell them that soon there will be young ones on the scene too.
Photography with a purpose!
Some lovely shots there sawman :thumbs:
Love No2 with the Red Squirrel, It's a fantastic shot.
Top didddly shots there. That claw is something else (when taken in context). I just love reds.
:clap: Great stuff! I also love the claw one ;)
Babies? ... OMG I can't wait to see what you can get when they are around! Baby reds are some of the cutest animals EVER!:D

superb squidger there
Thanks again for all your kind comments. I had the Squirrel project coordinator at the hide this afternoon. She could not believe that they were coming so close. I have had my arm twisted to start recording them in more detail. Charlie now sets down camera & picks up pen & clipboard:shrug:
It has been years since I last did monitoring of a species. Then it was the local Otters. Ach well I should at least keep my feet dry with the Squirrels:lol:
