All they have in Forfar are bridies! Thanks for the comments.
One squirrel used the open window frame to climb down. I was going to touch him but thought better of it:lol:They bite!

Nice shots..

If you don't mind me asking, what lens were you using to take these shots?

Something like a 400mm?

Thanks again folks. Glad you liked them. I just felt the claw made up the set nicely. As to lenses. Most are taken on a 300mm but I am now also having to use a 70 - 200mm as the squirrels are just too close.
I have also found out twenty minutes ago that there is a Red squirrel project going on just over the fence. They are trying to get a count of the local population. I can certainly help & I can also tell them that soon there will be young ones on the scene too.
Photography with a purpose!

Thanks again for all your kind comments. I had the Squirrel project coordinator at the hide this afternoon. She could not believe that they were coming so close. I have had my arm twisted to start recording them in more detail. Charlie now sets down camera & picks up pen & clipboard:shrug:
It has been years since I last did monitoring of a species. Then it was the local Otters. Ach well I should at least keep my feet dry with the Squirrels:lol:
