Did you get any of the gliders? I put my camera away at the time for a bit of a rest, but when they came right in front of us I was a bit annoyed with myself because it looked like a good photo opportunity, so I'm guessing you would have had a good view from where you were and the red glider may have up righted him self in front of of you.

cheers for comments . i was using a 5d and 100 - 400 with monopod left in the boot of the car :shake:, so i was sat on the grass giving my arms a few minutes off :bang: i did pick up the camera at on point only to find a full flash card after one shot of the red glider . and that is of no use .
to be honest if i were anyone on here i would check to see which airshow i might be at and stay away .

ireland last year , weather cr*p . redbull at longleat not one aircraft took to the sky that day . need i say more .

Things are obviously getting better for you though, seeing as it didn't rain and only Vulcan and Apache could give us a display.

Ok it wasn't good for photography, but I thought it was a great day, even managed to catch the sun on my face. How I don't know :)

as python would say always look on the bright side :thumbs:
did get a tan myself .

won`t stop us going My little lad is almost 4 he love`s the red arrows and spitfire .
Alyson said when she went to the air-show in Ireland how much of a surprise it was that she enjoyed it so much .
