Been lurking for sometime, but thought Id stick my head in. Been reading about lightboxes recently and so I had a go with a cut-out cardboard box, and a couple of 60w spotlights (just normal off the shelf type). Lighting was from the side and front. Lens was my 18-55mm kit lens. Adjusted the White balance in RAW, and this is what I got:

C&C Welcome, as Im still new to this, so any pointers/tips appreciated

Thanks
Graham

Thanks Mojo.
Think I need to up the wattage of the lights, might help with the shadows...
next plan is a glass sheet and try some reflections.

Cheers

Use a reflector for the shadows or 2 light sources just upping the wattage will not remove the shadows.

Thanks :)
I've been using 2 spotlights, and shining them through paper windows
on the box to diffuse the light. Will try some experiments with a reflector and see how I get on...
