This one's not too bad at all as well Ian ... :D ... Rutland is a pretty damn fine place isn't it ... ;) ... do you get to the Bird Fair in August ... :shrug:

Ian, in my opinion, that is as good, if not better than a lot of stuff I see in mags and publications.

I think it is an excellent image, the theme and the inclusion of habitat are exceptional.Well done....:clap:

Looks like the quality might just be there to crop a tad tighter and get in a bit more detail. Very nice natural shot Ian. Superb effort.

that is a quality photo, you have absolutely nailed the focus, and the theme is great! I like the background of reeds, it really shows the bird's potential to camouflage themselves.

This was a pre built hide at Rutland Water, Waderscrape Hide at Lyndon Nature Reserve.
