I'm thinking of adding a monopod to the kit bag
It needs to support a Canon 5D with 70-200 2.8 lens

anyone point me in the right direction?

thanks

Giottos MM9570.

. Has swivel and tilt head built in, takes my D200 with grip + F4 300 + 1.7TC with no problems. It ain`t the best, but its very good value for money.

And it does flip through 90 degrees.

Correct link. (http://www.giottos.com/MM91-95.htm)

you say its for use with 70-200...you know where the monopod goes onto the lens collar not the camera... all you do is unscrew the collar slightly and swivel... you get portrait and without using a swivel monopod that can be weak..
