View Full Version : Tornado into the abyss
Found this tonight from Sunday.....The turbulant wash of the engines caught my eye. Not everyone's cup of tea I'm sure so what do you think?

yup nice--very in your face
Lovely shot indeed. The role demo always gives the opportunity for good shots, but this one excellent.
Thanks for sharing

Thanks for all the positive comments, wasn't too sure how this would be received as it's a bit different from my "normal" aircraft shots!

It appeals because it is far from the usual aircraft shot. Got to love an MRCA.

Can't say that aircraft shots are my cup of tea... But I could dunk a Hob Nob in this one. Love it!!
I really like it. It's very moody.

It is awesome. What processing has been done to it?
Because I think the processing has made it stand out from the crowd

Good shot Tim.....I like it........good dramatic sky........something different for sure......nice one......Cheers Barry
I processed the photo in Lightroom by adjusting the exposure and saturation of mainly the red and yellow channels, the original was pretty bland as lighting conditions on the many Cosford threads will show. It was while I was looking at it that I realised there was more colour in it than I first thought hidden in the murk, just a case of eeking it out, but at the same time not going totally overboard.
