the red eyes always look painful to me

love the second shot, looks like he's come from the future to kill Sarah Connor...but can only peck her to death.
really like the reflection
would like to see it cropped down dropping the one in the background and using that reflection below it.

Cracking photos, i only get to see these at a distance in winter plumage. Its great to see how beautiful they look all dolled up. :thumbs:

Great shots, never seen a slovonian grebe before........heck I havn`t seen a dabchick for a while. Lovely photo`s though........I might be tempted to try and clone out the oof bird in the second shot (looks the easier of the two shots to do) that would make the 2nd stand out all the more for me.
