OK...

Here's the scam, just bought a Canon EOS 20D.

I have been using Photoshop CS2 prior to this for some time now. Is there a way of opening a RAW file in Photoshop directly. Reading an article in the Canon EOS users mag there is a plug-in, but it costs £400 or so. Can anybody reccommend this or is there another suggestion someone can make?

Cheers

You tried here:

CS2 (http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/cameraraw.html)

Hi Chris, I'm not aure I understand here. I have the 20D and I just open CS2, open the RAW file and it is displayed in the RAW converter window. No problem. Have you tried it yourself.

Warspite is right, I'd forgotten about that plugin which I installed months ago.

Bizarre that the Adobe Raw file plug-in for the Canon 1DMkII will not open the 1DMkIIN Raw files..:nut:

Alas its only a small free download from their site..:)

The Canon software seems very model specific.
