Hi all,

Here is my problem:

I am using the sigma EF-500 DG ST on a Canon 400D body with a Canon 70-200 L lens.

The only difference is that the top image was shot with a shutter speed of 1/400 and the bottom was shot at 1/125.

Any ideas? :bang:

the sync speed for flash is something like 1/125 or 1/250 (look in your manual)

you have used too fast a shutter speed. ;)

Don't you just feel stupid when some one points out something so obvious?

So it's just that my flash can't cope with anything faster than 125/250 ish?

if you have a canon flash that has high speed flash... you can then put your shutter speed up on the camera... which is useful in bright sunny days outside but using flash for fill in. Thats why I changed my sigma for a canon!!
