Morning everyone.
I found your site last night after yet another hunt for a decent UK site; I’ve been stuck on a US site since Feb, so hooray to google... Oh and your diverse collection of smilies won me over. :smilenod: ;)
I've been snapping away since my Zenit in '78, done the B&W home made darkroom under the stairs thing, been through my fair share of crappy/early mega pixel cameras until recently purchasing a DSLR. :woot:
Needless to say, my photography is generally poor, with the occasional gem.
By gem, I mean at the Lapis Lazuli end of the spectrum... although I do have ambitions, or perhaps delusions, to turn out the occasional Diamonique.
Call me FB, or Adam.
I'm in the motorbike business, some web design. Part time parent-but a full time dad. I also have a very small cat called Molly, who’s demanding her breakfast. ;) :)
I thought about the home darkroom but never actually did it :)
Nice intro.
Welcome :)

Hi DJW & ed34, thanks.
DJW
Well, i'm mostly riding a wee CBR400RR these days; I'm banned from riding anything bigger because I still ride like a complete fool. I used to be immortal when I was younger you see.
My pride and joy is a Laverda 750 formula (A year 2000 Italian super sports bike) ,which I serviced last weekend, although it does need a few bits replacing before I can ride it again... It being Italian. :(
Saying that, I'm very jealous of that Triumph your collecting Tomorrow, lucky sod. That’s one excellent machine, Triumph have learnt a lot in the last couple of years and it clearly shows in this model. Good choice, I’m thinking there’s just no way you can be disappointed.
Ride safe, those cages are all out to get us, so be careful out there. :suspect1:
I just love the smilies on this site.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome everyone.
My third day surfing your forum, and I have to say, this is one excellent site. :thumb:
Great people, great advice, fantastic photos, and to top it all, your well up for a giggle.
I love the regular competitions and challenges, the allowable off topic general forum which is defiantly more productive to this community than other photo sites I've joined in the passed.
This may be a bit of superfluous emotional comment but I feel like I've wandered into my local for a drink, anything goes, but the point is, I'm there to drink... this site just seems to ooze photographer friendliness.
All that I need do now is NOT put my foot in it. :smilenod: :embarasse

Ad, just don't open that big mouth of yours without thinking first, leave the shallow wit and the poor sarcasm at home)
