Love the Grob. Brings back memories of when I used to live in England flying them with the Cadets.

Great set, but the 10-20mm shots do most for me, as they afford a different perspective on established subjects. Excellent use of it

Thanks again everyone.
I love doing the wide angle shots, they can be so different. Have some very sweet ideas for my next airshow.

Its good to work with a different approach. You will find your keep rate increases too.

When photographing static displays I check my records as to what I already have on file (sounds anorakish) in a little notebook. This way, if I already have a highly rated "normal" static shot I set to work on something different. Close ups, details, extreme angles and so on. It enhances your library by a great deal. Time, access and airshow size always play against you though so fitting 20 shots of each aircraft in is quite difficult.

Great set of photos, each one a winner. Looks like it was well worth the visit what with the nice weather too.

Fantastic the way you've got the colour to pop on the 1909 Bleriot XI ... really stands out in the grey sky.
Last two are my faves of the 2nd set ... love the Typhoon

Thanks Peeps,
Dan - Good call, records are vital when your taking around 1500-2000 shots at each show.

JPS & Glo - Thanks for the comments.
Dean:)
