Well,... what do you say when someone says they have a Ford 1979 Thunderbird for $1200?

Yes of course.

Needs a load of work done but the interior is mint. :) You can fit around 9 people in the boot (or trunk as it is known over here). No wonder the mafia used them,... hehe.

This is the 1984 Camaro Z27, fully refurbished, behind is the Dodge 1500 5.7 Ltr V8. The Camaro is a 2.8 Ltr V6. It was built for a V8 so there is plenty of room for a supercharger or twin turbo,... one day.

The Dodge is quite nice. Runs at 345hp at the moment. Its nice and convenient too with the big flat bed at the back and having the ability to sit 6 people.

About 14 - 18 to the gallon. The Camaro does 30 ish and the Dodge does 18. Fuel over here is $1.35. Used to be $0.50. The government are going to intervene an reduce the cost in the next few days.

Quite a bit of work to do but worth it in the end.

haha, took it out for a quick run as I did some engine work and it broke down. Doesnt appear to like new parts :).

Looks like a full engine rebuild :). Or shall I put the old parts back and let it run on them? Erm,... Nope.

Sweeeeet. Just need a photo of it parked in front of a USAF Tbird, a little trip over the border might be in order when its completed. Nice photos also.
re fuel prices.....my brother moaned like crap when gas hit $1 a gallon, he said he might have to downsize his car to keep it running:lol:
