At sunset, sky was completely washed-out, no colour in it, so I cropped most of it. I don't like adding false skies if I can help it. Any thoughts?

I like it, but I think there may be better scenes within this one, waiting to be captured. I love the tree at the front, and would like to see it in isolation of possible, perhaps a vertical shot, with a simple background...wide angle would be best?
Also, the church is lovely too, but it fights the tree for attention so again a shot in its own would be worth seeing.
Its all personal, this is still a nice shot, with perhaps two very strong focal points.
Gary.

Thanks for the input. It is a glorious old oak tree - I have many more shots of it from different angles and at different times of day, just haven't got round to posting yet. I think the tree is meant to be the focal point here - the church just makes for a pretty backdrop. The church is surrounded by trees and hard to get a clear shot off with light on it. I will see what I can come up with ;)

Hi, Grave Robber...nice photo. I do like the balance the church gives to the tree. Perhaps even a tighter crop at the top, to completely remove the sky would be effective? Just a thought.
Here's a quick attempt...if you don't like it, I'll remove the link.
